Festival screenings / TV screenings / Awards
We had some 600 festival screenings in competition, in 70 countries; we won cca. 80 awards.
Since 2004, the creative workshop I founded and led has achieved perhaps the most international festival screenings among the Hungarian university studios – in many cases as the only Hungarian works in the competitive programs. In some years (on average) we had up to two festival screenings each week – somewhere in the world.
In addition, since our films were made without state support (often as low-budget films), both in terms of their production and sending to festivals, each invitation for prestigious festivals are special pleasure.
We were there at the birth (in the first edition) of many festivals with our films – sometimes in person -, another times we were invited to the competitive programs of festivals with a long history (40-50 years or more).
And the fact, that we were able to return to some festivals several times (up to 4-5 times) with our newer films, is another sign of our continuous quality. Just like our films have been screened all over the world in recent years.
All these results were achieved as a side activity, as a supplement to university education.
The list of the previous years’ screenings is constantly updated...
Sok fesztivál születésénél (első évében) voltunk ott filmjeinkkel – esetenként személyesen is -, máskor nagy múltú (akár 50 éve működő) fesztiválok versenyprogramjaiba kaptunk meghívást.
Mindezen eredményeket mintegy melléktevékenységként, a főiskolai oktatás kiegészítéseként sikerült elérni.
A korábbi évek fesztiválszerepléseinek listája folyamatosan frissül…
