Times Square (NYC) screening of VINTAGE BAZAAR2014

Connect4Climate has partnered with MTV Voices to celebrate youth climate action documentaries, exhibiting a 30 second compilation of Action4Climate competition submissions – as VINTAGE BAZAAR – on two massive Broadway displays on Times Square. 22-29 July 2014.

That was my second screening on Times Square.

CLEAR WATER is among the 10 shortlisted spots, screened in Durban (South-Africa) on COP17 UN Climate Change Conference on 4th December 2011.


L’Eden Théâtre2010

L’Eden Théâtre (La Ciotat, FRANCE)

It is always an honor to have a screening in a famous place. But it is something more… A really unique possibility: to the touch the cinema history.

The Eden Theater is a French theater and cinema located in La Ciotat. It was inaugurated as a theater on 16 June 1889. As the venue for screenings of so many Lumière-films, the Eden Theater is part of the heritage of the seventh art.
Today it is the oldest operating cinema in the world.

On 10 September 2010 – as part of the competitive program of 9th Best of Short IFFCOLORFUL EU was screened here.



Creative Heads – Cannes2010

With the prestigious Jury CREATIVE HEADS was an amazing competition. COLORFUL EU was among the 25 shortlisted spots selected from more than 3000 entries. (According to the organizers my entry was very close to be the winner.) – 20-26 June 2010.

That was my third screening in the Palais des Festivals, Cannes – after COLORFUL EU (MIPCOM, 2007) and MOBILE POSTCARD (MIPCOM, 2008)



Times Square (NYC) screening of COLORFUL EU2009

17th December 2009 – COLORFUL EU as one of the winning videos in the Metropolis Art Prize 2009 were screened on giant monitors in Times Square, NYC. Head of Jury: Isabella Rossellini.

Prix Europa Award

During the award ceremony the Foreign Office of the Federal Republic of Germany – who donated this category – asked for COLORFUL EU to screen it on diplomacy events during the EU-presidency of Germany, as an official spot. It is my pleasure.
